Waves Music Festival 2015 Recommendation
Like every year I am writing short before the Waves Music festival is starting these lines. The difference this year is that the name of the event changed a bit from Waves Vienna to Waves Central Europe - Music Festival, and I guess the idea is also to establish it more as “the” showcase festival in central europe for all the CEE countries. It takes place in Bratislava and in Vienna from 30th of September till 4th of October.
The media facts sheet site is still empty so I write from top of my head :)
I already read that the focus for Waves Music Festival 2015 is on bands from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania besides the upcoming acts from Austria and Slovakia and also from the rest of the world. The slogan is „East Meets West“ but don’t expect some ethno music, it will be still cool fresh pop, indie, electronic, rock and all kind of other somehow alternative anti-mainstream music.
We are excited as every year (here are last years blogpost from Waves 2014 - Day1 and Day2+3) to check out this eclectic mixture of exciting artists. By listening to the existing spotify music for the acts who will play in Bratislava, and the Deezer list for Vienna we found a few favorites so far we will try to see live:
