I have to admit I feel quite ashamed that I didn’t know Oddisee before but after watching him perform with his superb band “Good company” I am still amazed by their powerful performance. It was just pure joy to watch these amazing musicians doing their thing on stage. I am not sure if I have seen a better MC before, Oddisee got a unique flow and is always tight as hell (same for the band), plus he can switch with absolutely no effort to different styles (also: same for the band too). The Band and Oddisee on their own are already great but the two in combination are just unstoppable. Can wait to see them again in Vienna, or somewhere close.
Best concert of Waves15 = Oddisee & good compny
It was by far the best concert of the whole festival, unfortunately we couldn’t see Ebony Bones but no other act did even come close to Oddisee and good compny. Massive Props to them and may they become (just a little bit) famous to keep on touring and playing for us soon again :) I still feel a little buzzed and lucky that I could capture a bit of it on video.
