It’s been a while since I have seen Bombay Bicycle Club the last time. With their fourth record So Long, See You Tomorrow they broke new barriers and managed to add some turkish & indian flavor to their indie-pop-rock mixture. But don’t get me wrong, not every song sounds like this, they still didn’t forget their indie roots. Their sound just evolved to new levels and is now capable of blending in all different kinds of music styles while keeping their unique Bombay Bicycle Style and flirting a bit with electronica.
Watch the video to their single “Feel” from their latest record, and you will know what I mean:
I personally love their songwriting and excellent live performance. It is just amazing to see musicians developing their skills over the years. They have put up a live video from their full gig at Brixton Academy from March on their website http://bombaybicycleclubmusic.com. So take a look that you can get an impression.
Not to forget, the opening band Pavillion from Austria. So far not much material online, but we expect great things from them :)
So put on your dancing shoes and head to the Arena Wien tonight for an awesome concert.
